SRISANKARA TV IN PROMOTING KANNADA CULTURE.
BHAJAN SAMRAAT GRAND FINALE
Bhajan Samraat Grand Finale held on 15 September 2012 at Meenakshi College for Women, Kodambakkam, Chennai has become yet another inimitable benchmark created by Sri Sankara TV. The event was telecast LIVE on TV and WEB TV for viewers across the world and has received a roaring response from world over.
Unconditionally loved by everyone, the event was filled with soulful bhajan renditions from the undoubtedly talented 5 finalists. Filling the air with devotion and merry, the event gave the world its first 'YOUNG BHAJAN SAMRAAT IN SOUTHERN INDIA'. The winning team Vishwa Vidyalaya, Chennai won the Bhajan Samraat title and 10 lakhs reward. The very moment of victory was equally emotional and that of sky scraping celebrations and cheer. The rest of the 4 finalists were surprised with rewards for each making each hard working team a winner in its own sense. The credit must go to Dr. V.R. Gowrishankar, CEO and Administrator of Sri Sringeri Sharada Mutt.
Our esteemed judges Padmashri Anup Jalota, Padmashri Sudha Raghunathan and Sri Mallikarjuna Bhagavathar were awed by the performances and did not hold back in showering praises for the hard work and dedication that each team has invested since the start of Bhajan Samraat journey.
The highlight of the show, felicitating our very renowned and divine Bhagavathars showed Sri Sankara's immense respect and pride in this rich tradition and our reverence to the strongest pillars holding this tradition.
This journey shall continue with Bhajan Samraat Season 2.
